Pricing, Payments & Rebates
Pricing
We tailor solutions to our clients, so it is essential we see the site or view plan drawings. But we encourage you to contact us via the enquiry form on the ‘Contact Earthsave’ page or via telephone to get estimates. We can then dispatch one of our experienced Earthsavers to assess your situation and discuss options.
When you decide to proceed it’s simply:
1. Pay your deposit (minimum 10% - before rebates)
2. Receive your product/s & warranties
3. Complete your rebate application/s (we assist with this)
4. Pay any balance due
And then you can triumph by watching the savings accumulate.
Payments
Methods of payment preferred by Earthsave are cash, cheque or internet payments. We also accept Mastercard, Visa and have a direct debit payment plan on Solar products.
Solar Credits
Solar Credits is a mechanism within the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme that boosts support to households, businesses and community groups that install small-scale solar PV, wind and hydro electricity systems by multiplying the number of RECs able to be created for eligible installations. When you purchase your solar power system from Earthsave, we can deduct the credits from your bill at point of sale if you wish. For more information on Solar Credits see Solar Credits FAQ.
Prior to Solar Credits introduction in September 2009, there was the Photovoltaic Rebate Programme (PVRP) with a lump sum rebate. This scheme closed in June 2009.

Australian Government Solar Hot Water Rebates
Owners of eligible solar water heaters and solar heat pumps are eligible for RECs (renewable energy certificates) once the systems are installed. Clients have the option to claim RECs themselves by completing the appropriate application forms or assign their right to claim RECs to an agent. View the Solar Water Heater (SWH) Owners Guide here.
At Earthsave we like to assist our customers where possible by completing the RECs assignment forms with you, thus allowing you to claim your rebate at point of sale. This means we can give you the rebate off the purchase price, alleviating paperwork and waiting times.
In addition to the RECs rebates, the Australian Government will provide lump sum rebates towards installing eligible solar hot water systems and heat pump hot water systems in existing homes. NB. This scheme has been affected by the latest announcement on 19/2/10.
To check your eligibility for this rebate and the latest changes click here to go to Energy Efficient Homes Packages. We will update this section once changes have been confirmed by the Australian Government Office of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
