Earthsave is a Brisbane based solar company dedicated to bringing sustainable products to home owners, builders, developers and architects looking to future proof existing and new build homes. Low impact solutions make homes more energy efficient and healthy for occupants, also reducing demand on the limited Brisbane resources and our environment.

We believe that ethical purchase decisions made with consideration to reducing our collective environmental impact empowers home owners and business to make a difference. For example, installing a solar system for your domestic hot water needs instead of an electric is the equivalent of taking a small car off the road.

Earthsave Recommends
Boorman Eco, Hinterland Luxury Self-sufficient Holiday House at Mapleton. So good it's worth a mention. An inspirational setting, and we were Boorman Ecoimpressed to see the architects had specified an Edwards solar hot water system for it's water heating requirements, and photovoltaics provided solar power to the home. And to make your indulgence seem a little less guilty, half the proceeds from your stay goes to preserving the area................for more info see www.philipboorman.com.au/boorman_eco.html

Earthsave Supports Wild Mountains Trust
When we were approached by builder RJ Peagram for assistance on the Wild Mountains project, we worked with manufacturers Edwards to provide a subsidised solar hot water system for the main building’s kitchen and shower facilities.

So what is Wild Mountains? Straight from their website, ‘Wild Mountains exists to provide relevant and inspiring environmental education to the Australian community and to protect and conserve the natural environment over which Wild Mountains has stewardship.’

How could we resist their plight? We took to the road bright and early, having no idea about this locale, with a top of the range Edwards 440 litre Titan solar hot water system in our ute. Beyond Rathdowney and beautiful sits this microcosm of altruism and endeavour, and spectacular scenery. The majority of the work is done by a dedicated core group who enlist help from whomever they can. The vision is almost complete, and we hope our kids get to visit some day. If you want to be inspired, take a look at the website. Participation is welcome, or give these good folk a donation if you can. www.wildmountains.org
